We are proud to introduce you to Ezio Auditore di San Francisco!
On February 25th we adopted Delbert from Save-A-Bunny up in Mill Valley. Hunny was introduced to him a week earlier and we left her there to be boarded and bonded with him. We brought him home but decided to change his name. So we are proud to introduce you to Ezio Auditore di San Francisco! What? Why does he have a complicated Italian name?
I decided to name him after one of my favorite video game characters, Ezio Auditore di Firenze – star and protagonist of the awesome Assassins Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Delbert reminded me of the assassin in his dashing white robes and leather bracers. I read somewhere online that Ezio meant eagle-like which seems perfect since this handsome rabbit has “airplane” ears that look like flapping wings when he’s running around! Auditore can mean listener (appropriate), officer or judge – in the games Ezio’s family was of noble bearing and high standing in the city of Florence.
Anyway, back to my Ezio! This handsome rabbit is slightly smaller than Rory was but has a huge personality. He’s friendly and easy going. A pleasure to hangout with. Here’s a few photos of Ezio and Hunny.
We still miss Rory everyday but we’re happy we found a rabbit that Hunny Bunny likes. Now she wont be lonely when we are out at work.
